Its slated for the IH 9300 I'm planning to replicate my step dads truck , w scratchbuilt Mac dump trailer

This was originally a Clint Freeman Components engine.  I have an original.  I appears that the crispness of the parts has worn out.  The molds look worn.

I'd like to add  a few tid bits. The autocars come with turbo parts ,so by kit bashing the turbo with the non turbo intake manifold you would have a 335.I like horsepower so I call the nta370 an nta 420.Those nta's came in 370 up to 420 in 10 horsepower increments .You can turn the cruiseliners  300 into a 315 hp 300+ by painting it a redish copper colour. For a period of time Euclid owned westernstar.During that era engines were Euclid green.

Just a note regarding Caterpillar.
I read somewhere that Caterpillar changed the color from Old Caterpillar Yellow, also known as Hi-Way Yellow, to New Cat Yellow on their machines in June 1979 and that could be the case with the engines too.
So if that's correct the engines would be Cat Hi-Way Yellow from January 1932 until June 1979, after June 1979 New Cat Yellow.

Kenworth had white engines through 1975 and Peterbilt through 1984, after that manufacurer colors, there are some exceptions to the rule where you can see engine manufacturer color before and white engines after thos dates.

This is a really usefull list when looking for donner kits for future conversion  projects, I come back to it quite often when planning future builds (when I can remember where it is) I was thinking though maybe it would be possible to add all the different resin after market engine's that are available, I know of quite a few but there must be a lot more?  Just an idea!

Good idea !  I'm aware several resin casters have numerous engines that aren't always listed , maybe we can include those too

Earlier in this thread I have listed the resin engines I know of but if anything is missing and not listed please add them to this thread.
Unfortunately it's not possible to edit old posts any longer so I can't update the engine and color lists I did earlier with new information as I get it without doing a completely new list in a reply to this thread. :(

Contact one of the moderators - they can arrange for you to modify the old post.  Either PM one of them, or even use the "Report Post" link in the upper right of the post you want modify, and tell them what your intentions are.

This list is a combination och work and research from several contributors here on the forum and it has been fun to put together...a labour of love so to say.
So if this topic is useful to someone at least I am glad and I think that goes for the other contributors as well.

Well I can't add anything to the list as the edit function doesn't work after a while.
The downside with Strato Models is that the engines and other stuff are not available all the time and when the things are available they sell out very quickly...Pavel Behensky do very nice products tho'.
I was able to get a couple of wheel sets from him last week, they sold out in a few hours and I expect the same will be for his upcoming Kenworth 523, 524 or 525, the model number is depending on what suspension he will do for it.
