DRIPTROIT 71
This one began with a cab from A.I.T.M., the tanks came from Dave as well. The engine is a 6-71 Detroit from Gary Wallace. The transmission is a 5 speed. The tires are from KJ at Double Take. The frame, wheels, front axle, and front springs are from the R-Model. (I know that Brockway didn't use Mack front axles, but it is what I had.) Rear suspension is the walking beam from the AMT Ford LN8000 tractor. The drive axles are from an IH 4200. Glad Hands are from Shapeways. There are numerous parts from the parts box. The decals are from an old Nascar kit a just a little smaller than the ones on the 1:1.

I would have liked to have done some more detail, but I decided it was time to be done with this one. I start out with big ambitions but get tired along the way. Plastheniker
Good job! I still remember the poor AITM castings. It was a good idea to avoid the Mack F version and its unrealistic grille.
