signguy2108
Just a plain, no frills work truck. the last truck i owned, 1978 , 285, double low 6 speed, added the sleeper after i bought it. Model had the w/b stretched (190) in., kit tanks lenghtened a bit, visor added, diff wheels. Thats about it. I'm told the real one sits behind a barn now, grown up in weeds with a log loader on it.....

leafsprings
Nice build for an old classic. Very realistic looking, right down to the painted rings on the front rims.
DRIPTROIT 71
Very nice! What did you make the sleeper vents out of?

signguy2108
Thanks, guys. Brian, the vents came out of the scrap pile, don't know what they were from. Sleeper was scratchbuilt, the real truck had a 36" Able sit in with one exhaust cutout and round vents. I installed it cause hauling wood chips, we sat in line a whole lot of the time. Ended up being storage mostly, with no a/c vents in the sleeper, u certainly could'nt sleep in it! Getting close to the end of the month, got to get back on the short dog....
