It took me some time to find the right parts but finally it was pretty simple If you click on this link you can read the story behind the build: https://www.modelcarforum.de/showthread.php?t=39649 I accessed that site and not being able to read German can't read it. Saw no photos of the engine under construction so I am assuming there aren't any available. A super clean build with withstand paint and details. Thanks for sharing. What is that material the cylinders are made from? I would like to build some vintage motorcycle engines and that looks to be the perfect stuff to start with. For the cylinders I used threaded rods made of plastic
Sam I Am
Yeah, it looked like plastic all-thread to me. Cool and innovative idea.
crazyjim
I'm very interested in the source of this threaded rod. Google did nothing for me.
Sam I Am
I Googled "plastic all thread" and came up with lots of links like this one. https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwjco9mXhdHiAhWW0mQKHegzCOgYABAEGgJwag&ae=1&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAESEeD2HcQkWLjPrtkg1tYVjX42&sig=AOD64_1WlYw65H5xsyqYkl-kWcGqF5HnBw&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwia09GXhdHiAhWCGDQIHX_wC94Qwg96BAgLEAc&adurl=https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx%3Fsku%3D91844%26gclid%3DCj0KCQjwrdjnBRDXARIsAEcE5YnEza2GBYl-sOMYt-z66opl1-RcTXM0erHg44j9_dO3ICIvmgRmoDQaAkSSEALw_wcB
misterNNL
My quick search lead to sources like Wal-Mart and Menards.
misterNNL
Rather than buy a five foot long piece of threaded rod and have a two lifetime supply, I when to my local hardware store and bought two 1/4-20 plastic bolts. Those have enough material for several projects for me. The bolts were $.65 each. Edited June 5, 2019 by misterNNL Forgotten word

Dominik
I wish you had given more information from your workbank-report - not everyone reads German as we learn English ...
