Super job all round. Very nice work on the hood louvers.,

Thanks Curtis - I have always liked seeing engines through the louvers on full scale hot rods so wanted to try and replicate that. I am kind of disappointed with how dusty these photos turned out so plan to take some more.

Here a couple more views that I really like. Forgot to mention the reason why I used a reddish background on previously posted photos is because the full scale car was photographed with a similar background for The Rodder's Journal.

Turned out great!

Nice hinges on the doors, by the way! I also like the V'd spreader bar.

Thanks Chris -  The hinges are one of the many great Deuce parts from Replicas & Miniatures. I used aluminum tube for spreader bars

Black is such a difficult colour to photograph. These pics look better, nice interior.

Thanks Curtis - Yes I agree about the difficulty of photographing black. I have also had problems with red. Think I need a better camera that has a broader amperage  range.

Beautiful 3 Window Phil, love everything about it!   How did you open up the louvers on the hood?

Nice, clean, low, black, 5-spokes... can a Deuce look better?

Thanks guys Forgot to mention I scribed the louvres with back side of #11 blade over a very long time

Thanks Phil!   Sounds a bit tedious, but I’m looking forward to giving it a try...it really adds realism to your build.
