1970 Superbird

Recommended Posts

The Revell kit with the Petty decals in the box but can't really be built as a Nascar!
Kieth Marks decals were used on the body.
The body was painted with lacquer that came from a guy that had some touch up paint in a spray can. Had just enough to do the job then dropped the nose on the floor and got full of dirt. So had to use Model master paint for the nose as you can see the difference.

That turned out great. Nice work on the interior.

Beautiful bird.wouldn't worry about the paint mismatch, the nose and the wing on the real car were painted in lacquer, and the body in enamel. they usually did not match exactly.

Nice job, having the actual Superbird logos looks great. I need a set of those for mine.

I have 2er3 of these kits along with the 1/24 scale Hemi 'Cuda kits... I was wondering if the Hemi would drop in the superbird without any mods..??...

Nice build! Just don't start telling everybody at the model shows that you mis-matched the nose on purpose to make it look like an original car...that was a happy accident, we're on to you!!! ;)
