landman
I always liked the Club Sedan body style with the blind ear quarter. So I rummaged and I think I have what I need to make one.

Flat32
First car I ever noticed with seven wheel lug nuts. This one deserves a slow meticulous build IMHO.

It won't have the disc wheels Ray, whatever I have in the pile. I get the slow and meticulous.
Richard Bartrop
Liindberg did a 1/32 kit of the disc wheel version that's surprisingly good.
landman
The Packard hood is a close match to the Duesenberg cowl. Now remains to decide where to cut to put the front pf the Packard cowl on to the Duesenberg body.
jaxenro
Cool project can't wait to see it progress
landman
Dabbled a bit at making a disc wheel with a button, some aluminum tubing and bits of styrene. I think a very small socket head screw might make a nice hub as well, especially since it has Packard's trademark hexagon right in it. Eric Macleod
I built a 1930 Packard 734 sedan perhaps 15 years ago. This is not for the feint of heart but you'll have a great model when you are done.

Eric Macleod
I didn't want to hijack your thread but here is what I built at the time.

Eric, was the whole body scratchbuilt or is it based on something else?
landman
Took the roof of another one to make the front. Won't attempt to cut those wedges out tonight.

I used the Monogram Packard Phaeton body on the bottom and grafted a pair of Monogram Ford Model A Coupe roof sides ( for window frames) along with a full roof section from a AMT 31 Ford Tudor. Tons of sanding and filling gave me the result you see. When I built my Duesenberg Judkins Victoria I used a method very similar to yours with the multiple Town Car bodies and the wedges cut in them. You definitely have the right idea as far as I am concerned Pat. I am interested in watching your progress.
landman
Here's what i plan to do where the two roofs (or it it rooves?) join. I have to trim to bring the dotted line over the X, then copy what is in the oval at location A. Wish me luck.
Eric Macleod
That looks doable. Good luck! Edited July 10, 2019 by Eric Macleod Typo
Richard Bartrop
The window frames from Revell's Model A coupe look like they might get you close.
