Hi Bill, is there any possibility of doing the '64 Ford grill?  It would require the section below hood as well.

I'd be interested in a '64 grill as well

I have started on one,  the headlight bezels are giving me fits but I am working on it.

Bill,

I found this in an old box of parts and wondered if it was something you could use. It is the only one I have.

Thanks Sam, hang on to it, I appreciate the offer but for now I don't need it.  Thanks again!

Just wanted to show the progress on a 64 Ford F series grill.  I still need to fill in the areas around the headlight ring and bring the headlights out a little.  I also will create the panel above the grill.  I should be able to do 62 and 63 once I get the headlight bezels ironed out.   Can anyone confirm if the F100 badges that go on the 65-66 fenders are the same size as the ones the 64 had on the hood?  Anyways, just wanted to show the progress.   Bill

Great work on the grill, I know the finished product will be outstanding as usual! The '63-'64 emblem is the exact same size as the '65--'66 emblem

Thanks Tom! I thought they were but wasn't sure.  I am going to see if I can make those as well.

Looks good!

The only thing I can think of is the heater box you offer in your conversion is correct for '65-'66... The '61-'64 ones were different, but easy enough to scratch build.

Excellent job Bill!  Please let us know when they become available. The '64 pickups could get away with your already done I beam axle and leaf spring front suspension. The one other thing that would be helpful is the inner fenders, which are  more rounded than the '65-'66 inner fenders,

Thanks Tom, I will let everyone know when I am ready to release them.  As far as the inner fenders go, I want to leave some scratch building for the builder ha ha!  I don't think I will tackle those at this time.  I have gone ahead and created 62 and 63 grills and the panel above the grill for those as well.  I did the hood badges for the 63-64 ( will add the 250 and 350 ) and I am still working on the hood spear for the 62.  I see a 61 in the future as well.  Here is what I have so far.  The items are just set in place and held with tape for the photos.

Thanks Jon, I will look at the heater boxes and see if that is something I can do.

Those look great.  However, remember that Ford changed the roof on the F-series trucks beginning in 1964 where the center section of the roof is lower in the rear.  From 1960 thought 1963, the roof was flat.

Thanks AJ, I forgot all about the roof change from the smooth top in 61- 63 cabs to dip in the 64 - 66 .  Hopefully it shouldn't be much of a hassle for the builder to fill in that dip on the Moebius 65-66 cabs to get the right look for the 61-63.

1969 Ford with Rookie Resin grill. Thanks Bill

Thanks Tom!  Wonderful work on this one!   BTW, those mirrors were designed for the 4th Gen Ford cabs (Moebius 65 -66) which is why the fit is a little "off" for the 67-72 kits.

Aside from the original AMT issues, there have been several resin re-casters doing the 'unibody' big back window and the standard small window.

The 64-66 cabs not only have the relief in the center but there is also a prominent ridge about 1-1/4" above the gutter. The 61-63 roof is a low crown from the gutter to the center.

Hello Everybody.....it has been a while!  Life got busy!  I am ready to release the 62, 63, and 64 Grill's for the Moebius 65-66 Ford Pickup model kits.  I also did the panel above the grill which will be sold separately and the hood badges for F100, F250, and F350's also the spears for 62 as well.  As A.J. and Jon pointed out earlier in this post, the roof on the Moebius kit is correct for 64 but will need reshaped for the 62-63 to be accurate. (Thanks for the info guys!)  I will also be releasing, in the next day or so,  Sport Custom emblems for the 67-72 Ford pickups for the fenders and bed.  Another item that will be added will be Ford Ranger door panels for the 73-79 Ford pickups.  Thank you everyone for your support!    Items should show on the website within 24 hrs... for some reason it takes a while sometimes for items to show.      Bill

Will the Chevy 60-66 long box be coming back to your store ?

Yes....working on making new molds.  I pulled them from the inventory because the molds shrunk and the bed sides were over a couple mm shorter than the masters.  I don't do much casting and I admit, I have been procrastinating on getting those done.  I will work on them this week.   Bill
