TooOld
Revell GmbH reissued this kit a couple of months ago and I wanted to build it for the 50th Anniversary , strangely Revell USA is reissuing it in September . Assembly is fairly straight forward , although the legs of the Lunar Module are a bit tricky . Very little painting on The Lunar Module except for a spray coat of aluminum , but lots and lots of foil . I used Chrome , Black , and Gold foil . . . enough for dozens of cars ! Here's a few more photos of the finished model , hope you like it ! Here's a shot without the "Moon" light . Rob Hall
Odd they didn't release it in the US for July. Looks like a neat kit.

SfanGoch
That looks fabulous, Ray. Very well done. I built this kit right after the landing and agin in fifth grade as a member of an after-school science club. bbowser
Wow! Outstanding model of a truly epic event. I often think about my grandparents going from horse & buggy transport to seeing men on the moon in one lifetime, makes one think.

peteski
Great diorama! Lighting and backdrop too! Funny how Monogram molded the shadows into the base. How did you model the gold tint on the helmet visors? Edited July 22, 2019 by peteski
