RandyB. Posted August 8, 2019 Share Posted August 8, 2019 Just wrapped up this 1949 Ford Custom Coupe. Painted in Dupli-Color Creme and clearcoated with Testors Glosscote. The color is a close match to the factory color Miami Cream. Did some research into engine colors and found out that the first half of the 1949 production year engines were painted Ford Dark Blue, last half of the year they were painted Bronze. I personally like the kit it's self and the subject. As a child I went with my father to pick up our new '49 Ford four door so as you can guess I have a special place for these cars.
