gtx6970
Well ? I'm not a street rod type builder . But this is pretty cool . And I can only imagine the work to pull this one off
Snake45
Looks like something The Cat In The Hat would drive. Hard pass here.
Ramfins59
Looks like something that John Teresi would build.

Spex84
Holy mother that's wild! And I like it, too! Very unconventional forms in the roof area....but I can see all the "right" reveals and detailing that makes it look like it could have been a real car at some point. I'd love to see a front view...I hope it's as cool as the back.
jokar124
Ah yes, a fine example from Salvador Dali's "hot rod design" period.

Looks like a Fad T with the soft top molded as one with the body. Looks far better this way, and much swoopier, though I'm sure the proportions here have been adjusted a bit. StevenGuthmiller
Jees!!! I'm not a hot rod fan in the first place, but that one completely kills it for me! Looks like the builder took one too many tabs of acid before he started! Steve Edited August 11, 2019 by StevenGuthmiller

stitchdup
I think that may be a british build by a gentleman called paul bacon. He's the same guy that turned a citroen bx into a 50s style custom then turned a z3 roadster into a roth style car and a london taxi into a pretty cool looking van imo. More pics of it here http://www.bikerlifestyle.co.uk/automatron-hotrod/ and some of his other builds Edited August 11, 2019 by stitchdup
gtx6970
I think its kool, not cool enough I would even consider owning it but I can certainly appreciate the work to make it from the ground up its about as bizarre and unique as one can get IMO
bobthehobbyguy
Definitely shades of Ed Roth. Definitely you either love it or hate but that is not uncommon with some automotive subjects.

espo
I think whether you like it or not this is a work of Art and Engineering. While it doesn't appeal that much to myself I still appreciate the efforts that were put into building this. This guy is a very good at bringing many parts from many different sources together to build the chassis and engine. The body, well that is Art for sure. Just like not everyone likes the same Painting that doesn't mean it's not good Art.
Mark
Willy Wonka should be driving it, with My Little Pony pulling it...
