Jim H.
This one was a longtime work in progress, and it feels food to say that I am pretty impressed with the way it turned out. I am 26, and I started modeling in late 2017. I think this build was a milestone for me in terms of patience and how it impacts the final product. I love this hobby. I rent an apartment in the Boston area, and I commandeered a space in the shared basement to put a 6 ft. table, along with a few shelves, and build my plastic. I haven't been building much lately since it is summer time, so finally finishing this feels especially nice. I ordered the Fireball F250 upgrade kit and I was not disappointed. Chassis assembly was a breeze and the detail on the parts is pretty astonishing. Moebius created a great kit, and Joseph allowed us to build the truck on the box. I wish I took more shots during assembly, but it tried to get a shot of the accurate tranny on the finished truck.

mikemodeler
That is an awesome job, I have yet to start on my Fireball conversion but this might get me going!
bill lanfear
Excellent work Jim! Love the conversion and weathering work right down to the bent pipes! Great engine detail and overall build!!
stitchdup
Very nicely built, I really like that you have the slight bends in the rack crossbars, it adds to the authenticity and would have looked out of place without it
Darbo
Fantastic build!
Matt T.
Great job, Jim! With the right backdrop, you could fool folks with this build. That’s how realistic and well done it is. Love it.
TarheelRick
Foe someone that just came into the hobby two years ago you have progressed very well. That is an excellent build; especially like the weathering and the overall well-used look. Two thumbs up.
espo
Great looking well used work truck. I like the bow in the overhead rack. Just the right amount of ageing and the same for the dirty tire treads. Edited August 12, 2019 by espo

stavanzer
I'm 56. I grew up seeing (and driving) trucks that look like this one. You have done an excellent job capturing the 'essence' of the subject. Great Job!
