I agree too. If I remember correctly from my Studebaker days (64 GT Hawk), the reason they didn’t do a convertible is thst the frame which was pressed steel was too flexible. However the lines were perfect for a convertible.

I thought the lines of this car were ideal for a convertible....

I saw one in a custom car magazine & on a calendar, it was my inspiration for this build....
