gotnitro?
We have matching paint this time !!!! Primed everything w tamiya fine white, then 2 coats of tamiya pure orange. I still plan to add the black hood after this sets up.. that's a job for the Iwata though. I even masked the trademark white brockway grill prior to painting to avoid issues w bleedthru.. the black hood should really make the cab standout , something I've always liked on these trucks. Thanks for following along, hopefully the popcorn isn't getting stale lol

gotnitro?
Quick update from last night...the glass goes in ! Dave gives the builder a slip of clear acetate for the glass w a pattern making it easier. The challenge is those small curved side glass.. Ya can see the reflection in the pics.. I secured the glass w Pledge aka Future which also helps clear any bobbles in the acetate. Ya can also see the air cleaner makes an appearance and plumbed out . Later I'll add the bare metal foil clamps . Thanks for watching Any comments welcome
Tesla
Nice job installing the glass...another example of the many uses of Future.

Sam I Am
Orange, black, white, with a touch of gray. So simple, yet with how you put them together they just jump at you with a huge "WoW" factor!
gotnitro?
Been puttering around adding a few details I'd spotted during my walk around. Guess my armor building OCD kicked in..I found some small link chain, and clevis' for the tailgate. the lift cylinder hoses are small diameter solder that'll attach to a valve yet to be mounted. Now completely for fun , the interior got livened up w a set of fans from double take ! Another item I wanted to add was a water bottle I spotted left on the dash...details like these always convince me these trucks are used by people, not just stored. Chucking up a scrap piece of clear sprue , and shaping w files and razor eventually gave me a suitable bottle.. More to come thanks for watching

Hermann Kersten
Great project and very well executed, you got me with the water bottle, briljant detail! Quote ..and lost enough Meng bolts to the carpet monster to seriously risk an emergency re stock order . Hahahaha, yep... that's why I have a laminate floor, almost everything has been found back so far but you have to listen carefully where the part ends up.? gotnitro?
Friday update ! Those tiny details ..actually a pair of them...wipers ! The idea came from a fellow modeler in another mag for classic truck modeling.
gotnitro?
Been frustrating getting this update to submit, guess I was too chatty..everyone knows I'm a chatterbox lol. Heres the wipers on the 361 these were constructed from small strips of evergreen and a meng bolt. Thanks for following along!
Warren D
Looking great, would you like to do the windshield on my 361? I think I'm going to try to do it in one piece...... I've got a couple of sheets of clear so many mistakes can be made.

Hahaha no thanks , I have another 361 in primer that's slated for a barney dickinson mixer, and your idea of one piece " glass" sounds good
gotnitro?
Thanks Dennis ! Mine arent exactly like the ones Rob Nagle built , but I like how thin they ended up. Now for the dreadful mirrors...

Now for the dreadful mirrors... I've done the mirrors from 0.030 brass rod for several builds (Rubber Duck Mack and Autocar mixer). Easier to work with than the soft metal and it scales out better.
