JerseeJerry55 Posted September 3 Good morning all hope everyone is well.I have heard that Round 2 is bringing back the Ford Louisville Dumptruck reissue. Any truth to this? If so they should sell a lot of them. It's one I never had the opportunity to have back in the 1970's so fleet LNT8000 tractor here I come.
mikemodeler Posted September 3 They are working on it, they have asked anyone who has a sealed kit to possibly "loan" it to Round 2 and they will get it back along with a copy of the new release.

Mike thanks. It's one of my favorite trucks so would be looking forward to this reissue.
Dave Van Posted September 3 R2 needs an original box to scan and use for the reissue. It will be the dump truck with plow....I'll get one!

I'll get at least one to make as a project that's been rolling around in my skull for a while. I'd like to do it as a mid 1970's Exxon unit. I grew up in Long Island NY so I believe that they may have had LNT8000's at one point. I know they ran White 4000's. Originally thought about doing it as a Texaco unit similar the the large Matchbox tanker unit my friend had. But there have been some Texaco examples out there before. Wanna be different. Secretly hoping that they will find a way to do a hinged hood.
Sergey Posted September 3 I guess everyone have the kit he wants to be reissued. I'm waiting for '68 Chevy Cheyenne. It haven't been reissued for long time. Plan to make 1967-72 C-40...C-60, using Cheyenne cab.... I love medium duty.

Just my luck mine is the last reissue not the first issue. It will be good to see this return.

tbill Posted September 3 No date on the box anywhere, so I’m guessing it’s the first issue maybe???

Dave Van Posted September 3 R2 needs box top for T-635 to scan for reissue. If you have on to loan, you get it back, PM me and I'll hook you up.
tbill Posted September 3 Mine is T503, the other issue I have is from 1985, and that’s a 6635, so neither of mine will do.

leafsprings Posted September 4 With a little interior knife work, put in a Cummins 6 or Cat 6 or Detroit V8, you got a LNT 9000. Can't beat the early 70's box art!
bigred63 Posted September 5 Any chance, we could get the 3 in 1 version in the same kit? I would buy that!

Force Posted September 5 (edited) As far as I know the different original versions of the LNT 8000 are T-504 Tractor, T-503 Dump Truck and T-635 Dump Truck/Snow Plow, and LN 8000 T-515 Short Hauler Box Truck and T-505 Race Transporter, all from 1971 except for the snow plow from 1972. Casey429 Posted September 8 I was hoping these would follow suit with the Short Hauler Coke reissue. Been hunting one for a while and as everything else, eBay and swap meet prices have reached levels I'm not comfortable with.
