BIGTRUCK
Flintstone resin Cord pickup body, and one Cord donor kit from Lindberg. Had to cut the chassis in half to extend the it 1.5 inches . Used alot of strips ,channel and sheet plastic getting it to fit and thin wall the lower edge of the body. This is where Im at now. I am using the Cord engine , wheels and tires, seats, dash rear springs, front axle and firewall. The dash and motor are chrome so that need to come off. Just searching for a direction on this one , until then its a slow roll building this.

BIGTRUCK
Got the simple engine fitted in its bay and even with all the plastic I removed or sanded down, I still had to drill into the hood and add a scoop and remove a third of the radiator. The firewall, dash and seat are also mocked in .
stitchdup
Cool truck, will be watching. Its not a cord though, thats a delahaye 135 and looks to be based on the heller kit
BIGTRUCK
The roof lines and lean back cab look Delahaye and front fenders too, but like alot of Flintstone resin its a phantom piece. He's calling it a 40 Cord custom truck I can't argue with it.?

BIGTRUCK
I thought the grille was fine but I cut it out anyway and recessed this chrome grille in. The interior is an area that will be hard to see once the body is on, so keeping that simple . Head lights were made from the spot lights from an old gangbusters kit. BIGTRUCK
Got the body cleaned up and got the paint on Sunday. Need to clear the bed floor, wax the body, make some windows, get the interior done, find some headlight lenses to fit these buckets, figure out some rear lights , paint the engine and install and maybe some side pipes. Pic of simple interior, cant really see it with that chop when the body is on. Edited September 24, 2019 by BIGTRUCK Extra picture
