65´Ford Ranchero Custom plus 1/25 Trumpeter

Recommended Posts

Hello, everyone. Trumpeter's kit did well, beautiful and clean with embellishments, but the plastic doesn't stick well with solvent glue. A second adhesive must be used. Plastic also crumbles a lot. I used the wheels from 76 'Ford Torino by Revell. I attach photos in the sun and in the shade.

Tremendous, great build, I know that kit was bashed when it came out, sure looks good to me.  Surprised there's any kits left of this model, never heard worse reviews.

Very nice, love the color combo. Some of the pics it could pass for a 1:1.

Beautiful looking Ranchero. I always like the 1:1 Rancheros from this era.

Great looking build. I have one of these kits, but after reading the horror stories, been afraid to try it, but after seeing this, I may give it a go.

That is gorgeous....

I have owned numerous 1:1 Falcons and this is one that has escaped me....for now.

Thank you so much, guys.

For Steve Zajac and Tom Billings: It's a nice kit. The only negatives are that the plastic material is fragile and not stuck with regular model glue. Also, the pay chassis isn't very pretty. Some of the clutches weren't very deep, such as the front window frame on the roof. I also, unlike the manual, glued the inner back into the body so it could be coloured as a whole and not glued to it until it was dyed. Be sure to build it.Go ahead ! :-) :-)
