Danica Patricks ARCA test car question

Recommended Posts

When Danica was switching from Indy car to stock cars she was signed by JR Motorsports to drive for them. They built a ARCA car for her first driving test at Daytona in December 2009 (see 88 car pic).  After the test, the car was renumbered to #7 for the ARCA Daytona race where she finished 6th in February 2010. (See  #7 car).I want to build the 88 car. What would be the best starting kit for this project and who would have the best decals? I have a diecast of the #7 car already. Thanks.1345185113_DanicaARCAtestcar.jpg.9480cc640b6789fd164065e684495395.jpg385776710_DanicaPatrickARCAcar.jpg.cac035033a812bab469621d6d0a6af21.jpg

Yes it was..............she drove for JR Motorsports which was owned by Dale Jr. That's why they used one of his cars for her test.

I'm not sure if this will work but the side windows and the front end look to me to be close enough for a starting point.

Go to eBay and search "Revell 2007 Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo model kit".  I know Danica's is an Impala but it looks pretty close.

Try Southern Motorsports Hobbies for the decals.  http://stores.smhracing.com/88-go-daddy-com-2010-danica-patrick/

Hope this helps.

The Impala in the lower series' were Monte Carlos with Impala stickers for the headlights, taillights and the grill area.  The last year the Monte Carlo was made (2007 I think), it had a striking resemblance to the street Impala.
