Audi 80: Back to the 90s.

Not bad. If you're aiming for a stocker the door handles should be black though (but they do look better when colour-coded).

Interior. A bit simple, since it will hardly be visible at all with the tinted glass, so only flat paint on the carpet for example. I am disappointed by the satin black I painted on the seats and door cards though, it dried high gloss and I still stirred the paint, but again, tinted glass so I let it be.

Not that they will be very visible either, but painted panels on the dashboard was also a hot thing back then.

Dual exhausts, after swapping the stock muffler for a very suitable Golf VR6 unit.

It was built many years ago, and I can't find the thread anymore, but if you allow I put 3 photos here in your thread.

This model is made to look like my 1:1 Audi, that I had for 14 years. Nowadays it has a new owner, and it's been built as a vintage rally car. When I sold it, the odo showed over 450tkm on it, still pulling strong with 185 hp stock under the hood.

Hi, what kit is this Audi?  My grandfather recently passed away, and I'd love to build this model car for my mother as this was the car my grandfather drove until is dying day.  Thank you for response!

Hey Arturo, I built this Audi 200 quattro by using the body like the starter of this topic is building, Audi 80. That means I made the original body wider and longer. The only part that is untouched/ original is just a narrow slice of the roof, everything else is practically scratch built. The grille, bonnet, lights, interior, engine, chassis, wheels. The body is 2mm wider all the way from the nose to the tail.

What a great car your grandpa had, I wish I still had mine.

I never liked the look of white gauges, but I know many people did and they were in the box, so... Doesn't fit at all but who cared back then? lol

Printed some Swedish plates for it too, not 100% correct but close enough.
