1968 Indy turbine car

Finally finished!!! Joe Leonard Indy turbine car. MPC kit of 1968. Tough build. Dog of a kit but it came out ok. Thank you indycals for the decals and resin tires. And thank you guys for the support!

Love the color combo and those tasty Indycals tires! The kitbashed/scratchbuilt turbine is darn cool too. It may may have been a sow's ear but you turned it into a silk purse. Well done! And thanks for the WIP photos, it was a lot of fun to follow along.

Looks great! I built the Art Pollard version and have Fred Cady decals to do the others but as you pointed out it's a tough build. Yours looks so good with the added details.

You are right, it is a challenging kit to build.  Certainly looks better than mine!  The tires really set it off.
