Well, this is an interesting development.  Wonder if it'll have Coca-Cola markings?  Ok, just kidding! ?

Why?  they're only original once ;)

Also, Evan Hermel on Spotlight said, that the rear suspension differs from the original edition.

I'm keeping it.......I have NO issue with ANY kit reissued....no matter how rare and if I own one!

I don't have an issue either with a re-issue of a rare valuable kit , only with mediocre product and I don't think the Mixer falls in that category :D

The GMC Sierra  Grande pickup can't be much far behind!   Great!  I'm all for re issues, they allow us to affordably  experiment ( kit bashing ) to  provide the outcome were looking for. A luxury I couldn't afford when I was 10 years old in '73.

If the torsion bar suspension is important, Auslowe has them.

Isn't the mixer from the DM800 the same as Ertl used on their International Paystar?

Yep. The Mack DM800 mixer has longer chassis rails and a hard bar Mack suspension too.

The Sierra Grand can't come back. It was modified into the '72 Chevy. Steve Milberry and I had a discussion about this subject a while back. I was doubting the story. Steve confirmed it.
