Mattilacken
Very impressive indeed! Great scratch building! Love the wheel and tire combo, where can I get hold of a set. Have a 96 impala that I want to make into a drag car.

It seems to be made from styrene stock? I envy your surgical application of glue in such closed quarters. I would be too old to attemps that... Ah, the joys of youth! Mine are made of wood, more forgiving for shakes. Getting older by the day, you know. Those struts are world class, they look 1/1. Keep on, impressive! CT yeah just some styrene stock to make it. I did have a casually that got glue everywhere ? you'd really never guess seeing your builds thats for sure On 10/20/2020 at 8:25 AM, crazyjim said: Very impressive work. thanks! streetmachine11
some more progress on the chassis. decided to try and make a rack and pinion. i was pretty happy with the result also made some more tubes for the firewall. finished the lower control arm mouts and made some motor mounts and a new motor plate. finally able to remove the jig for the engine. started making a front spoiler for the body and finally can set on all four wheels without the jig thanks for looking! comments welcome Edited November 2, 2020 by streetmachine11
Claude Thibodeau
Hi Jason! Top notch work all over, again. Bravo! I build 1/1 street rods and Pro-Touring for a living... and I must say your steering rack is spot-on. Even the retainers on the pinion case are spot-on. World class, really! streetmachine11
OLD vs NEW made some new valve covers for the 932 old: new: made some headders, downpipes and charge tubes and firewall panels. headders need some fine tuning and cleanup but they don't look to bad and they clear everything which was a task in itself. might try to make my own intake and throttle body. going to start working on the front drive too. thanks for lookin! Claude Thibodeau
Hi Jason! Like on a real car, tight quarters call for "packaging" magic. Looking at your exhaust/turbo combo, that makes the grade, bravo! CT

AmericanMuscleFan
Your new valve covers are very beautiful Jason! They're 3D printed, I guess, if so what technology do you have FDM or SLA? What do you use as CAD software? You have a nice twin turbo setup by the way, as others have mentioned. ?
Tortuga Kustomz
You're doing an amazing work man, you have a good direction on this, i have a question, what size of styrene tubing or rod are you using, i did use evergreen #222 on my roll bars and chassis work, for me they are easier to work with at this scale... streetmachine11
well I've gotten carried away with this project i decided to try and make an engine in CAD took a couple weeks and a few test prints but I'm really happy with it. I'll have to fix the valve covers because they have no bolts. also changed from a power glide to a lenco thanks for lookin!
