Joe Thomas
Quite an ambitious project, usual 1970's fitment issues. See On the Workbench for WIP pics. Nacho Z
You just took me back to my childhood, Joe. I had this setup as a kid, probably when it was first issued. I remember building it in typical kid fashion. Doubt that I did more than just paint a few smaller pieces. I know I didn’t paint the bodies. Anyhow, I have bought the re-releases of these and will build them. Seeing your excellent build up of the tractor and trailers has really got me excited about getting these on the bench! Great job and thanks for sharing!
PappyD340
Super nice build, I have a friend that drove for them for many years and retired from CF.

Hermann Kersten
Very nice build. Together with the 2 trailers, makes it all complete. Hermann.
leafsprings
Great job Joe. Excellent work on truck and trailers! Yet another reason why fleet trucks are my favorite. I built one of these years ago in the old green, but this will inspire me to do a later version.

High octane
Really nice build Joe on that tandem rig and I love the markings. When I was working my boss would have me drive a good distance to the job and I told him, that if I wanted to drive any distance I would get a job with Consolidated Freight. He didn't like that comment, but I didn't care.
Brutalform
You did a fantastic job on this build. Looks just like the trucks we used to see traveling the interstates years ago.

The pic is from 1975 New York State Truck Rodeo @ Uniondale Long Island you can see the Nassau Colisseum in the background.. I was hooked. A FB friend of mine was at the same event. I only became friends with him a few years ago and no idea he was there until I mentioned the Rodeo. It’s his pic.
