It's a nice change from the black, red and white Corvettes. Old Revell kit, plastic was very brittle and warped. Some of the best chrome I've ever seen on malformed parts- that's why I decided to build it OOB. Refinished in custom mixed RM lacquers, DuPont urethane clear coat. BTW, Not sure why Revell calls it a 1960, but it's ts really a 1959. 59s have horizontal pleats on the seats, 60s are vertical. For a long time, AMT called their 60 Corvette a 59. Odd... Anyway, I have definite warm spot for that old multi piece body kit. Very under rated, it's one of the finest solid axle Vette kits out there, which is pretty impressive when you consider it dates back to 1959! I have this kit but the closest I've come to building it was to use the chrome rims on another project. Looking at your build is making me reconsider building one also.
