I believe they are the same molding JC.  I have it listed in my files as a one off 935 Kremer K1 and racing at Le Mans twice, once in 1976 #47 (white) and 1977 #49 (red).  I seem to remember it being kitted in a brown color too, yes found it.

Is this what your kit's body looks like Gary?

I have that boxing of the 934/5 but will have to dig it out of storage to have a look.  Should have it by tomorrow.

The Gunze release (kit G118) appears to be the same body as the one you have molded in white.  This kit has a chassis set up for batteries and a motor to be installed and almost no interior detail except the seat, dash, and partial roll hoop.  The white chassis in the  pics is one I was fitting from a Fujimi Em series 911 Carrera Targa.  (my apologies for the less than stellar cell phone pics)

Thank you David for the Photos. Yes it does appear to be the same kit.  A review on this website indicates there is an alternate fender style in the 934/5 kits.

What I get from the web page you linked is that the K1 originally had rear fenders same as the 911 RSR, but this was later changed.  The kit supposedly represents the later ("second style") of rear fenders.  At least that's how I understand it.  Nice that he provides detail information like the correct tire sizes.

I think you are correct.  I wrongly interpreted it that the kit contained a 2nd style rear fender.

Here is the early Kremer K1 at Silverstone in '76

Silverstone '76

Then the K1 later in '76 at Le Mans.

LeMans '76

This what the kit should look like to represent a Porsche 934/5:

The 1976 LeMans K1 certainly looks what the Gunze kit is trying to represent.  It appears some different rear tires will be needed though.

How far did you progress in your build of this car?
