Last week I was able to finish it. This is the car that Guichet drove during the 1964 Tour de France, placing 2nd place.

Fabrizio, that turned out simply GORGEOUS! ?

The subtle body mods you did made a difference and one of these days, I'd like to have another Ferrari on the worktable.

The Daytona coupe is another beauty too! That's another kit (HRM) I've had for many years, but the kit is so nice, I almost hate to "molest" it. :D

Some details make a difference. I drilled out anlso the holes for the covers on hte front air scoops. And thinned the plastic around all the scoops.
The Daytona is also a Gunze kit, built few years ago with the Bartoletti. Build both when you feel it! At least is what I do on mostly of my models. Looking forward to see your builds!
Thanks Bill!

Very nice on both counts.  Those Gunze Cobra kits are okay but not worth $100+ when the HRM kit is so much better all around.  I built the Gunze Cobra but like Bill G my HRM is still in the box.  The race is on Bill.?

If you look a the price, a lot of kits are in the same condition. I pay this less than $50 years ago, and at that time was a pretty good price for it. Thanks vamach1!

Both cars look great!  I like the choice of paint and decals for both as well.

I went with the Viking blue for the Daytona, because is less used, and because when I painted it, was matching the other 2 Daytonas, and the Bartoletti transporter. The Ferrari, well only red for it... :DThanks Tom!
