restoman
I put the Lincoln wagon aside for a bit and dug this off of the shelf. Been picking at it for a few months... Picked up a resin shortbox and tailgate (needed a not-insignificant amount of work!), as well as the oh-so cool '72 style grill a year or two ago and it's all going on a LRE kit. Done in Testors Root Beer and 2k clear. I finally found a use for the awful, chunky tires that I seem to have too many of, and matched them with a set of Nascar rims for a bit of a street brawler look. Lowered the front end a good 3 or 4 scale inches and dropped the rear as well. This is the first time I've mocked it up since the wheels were mounted. Comments always welcome! It needed a fair bit of work: warped, poor contours above the wheel openings, the front panel had to be cut off and re-positioned... but it was the only way to go if one wanted a short box at the time. 89AKurt
My dad had a '71 (first year of this style?), so I have a connection with these. I was a teen, thought the curved taillights were so modern. Look forward to seeing it done!
restoman
The cab is stuck like a band-aid to the chassis. Getting it to sit in the right place was fun... The rear chassis has a bit of a sag in the plastic - might need some tlc to get the box level.
restoman
Coming together... After the holidays, the Molotow-sprayed grill should be ready for handling, and then it can all go together. Comments always welcome.

DukeE
Maybe pull rear wheel stance out a little? Just since it looks pretty mean and not lifted. Really like it overall, great color. Love shortboxes, esp low ones.
