:) ######, Harry, I was gonna let ya sleep in till9, but ya waz already up,eh? Hmmmmmmm.... Ok , next week then, Oh, an I think this ones a model, an it looks to be almost like a poster or somethin, as opposed to a pic of the real thing.It is purty though. ;):o;)

Correctamundo! To be precise, a 1/12 scale MODEL of that car, custom-made (scratchbuilt).

Here's a photo where you can see the size of the model... note the coffee cup in the background:

Yup! That looks like one of Retrotoys 1/12 scale offerings-------IIRC, they also did a '57 Jaguar D-Type that was just as beautiful.

Island Collectibles sold those years ago..........unfortunately, they're long out of production. I'd love to see a plastic kit of a nice 1/25 '57 Aston Martin DBR-1 with the open wheel wells!

I cant believe I missed the whole thing this week. Got busy at work stuff at home and never even looked at the pic till yesterday.

I'll be sure to look on Monday so I dont miss another one.
