Has anyone done a 71/72 K & K Insurance Charger? Looking for detail pics of the underneath part of the car and rear suspension.

There seem to be some shots of 1:1 '69-'70 K&K Chargers out there...if you're looking for info on what colors to paint the various components, you could probably use pics of the undersides of the earlier cars as a guide.

Rear suspension is quite simple. Two leaf springs and an 8 3/4 Mopar axle with gear oil pump and cooler, and 2 shocks on each wheel. They did that because a single shock would over heat and cause the oil inside to foam. Two took the load better, made them last longer before they started to fade.

Some of the K&K 71 up cars were rebodied earlier chassis. Using reference photos available for them would be pretty safe.
