Vince66
Still waiting on the truck to get here but here is my 1/160 N scale Great Dane 40' bulkhead flatbed trailer included a dime for size comparison. It will most likely get the dip and repainted. Might depending on how hard it is try to use actual wood on the deck (maybe). Just waiting on the truck to get here so I can start on it Edited January 9, 2020 by NothingAsFineAsaW9 Title change

Vince66
Welp my Diamond T fell thru my Ford cabs I have won't be able to get done as my other supplier is at the mercy of China so no frames no suspension no tanks or stacks for mini beast's as the items I need are on backorder until Late in the year. So still going thru the remaining kits I have to see if anything jumps out at me. No mini beast regular build did find a bunch of .0402 smd's for lighting hmmmm wonder what I can find now. Vince66
What engine is in this kit is it a Cumm-A-Part or a Drip-Troit. Also any traps or pitfalls I need to watch out for with this kit. Thinking of leaving the top foil off making it a mid roof. iamsuperdan
Italeri do an excellent truck kit, so I'm looking forward to seeing this. But I have to question their design department. Which committee is responsible for the decal packages on these truck kits? They're prettty ridiculous. lolz

Vince66
Thanks to @DRIPTROIT 71 I can now begin this build in the am as now have my engine colors picked for this Cumm-A-Part it'll be a red top N14. So stand by to laugh as I haven't built a big kit like this in awhile.

Vince66
It is alive man I forgot how bad the ejection pins and pin marks were on these kits after removing a bunch I finally got the base engine block together. Gonna let the glue set then go back and sand and fill and sand and fill hehehehehehe. Anyways here y'all go slow but sure. I think mega hobby.com will have that kind of items, they have a decal section on their website. Hermann.
Vince66
Thanks Hermann have to check them out. After looking at the trailer closer it's a one piece deck so decals/dekals should work.
Vince66
At a standstill just no Mojo to build this big truck or car kits litterly. Sorry gang hoping to get some sort of Mojo going soon.
Vince66
okay Y'all my mini beast pusher got his shop going again so I just received this today here is my original plan the proto photo first 1957 pic in Denver of a Diamond T with separate sleeper. so my mini version will be an N scale 1/160 resin kit made by Royalemodels.com the trailer as seen above will be from trainworx with the bulkhead removed for those long loads onto the model pics. So after this mini beast arrived I got my mojo flowing again. The Western Star will be going to a new home aka DrKerry as we're working on a trade lol. Till next update Chowda.
