Modlbldr Posted April 20, 2021 Share Posted April 20, 2021 (edited) That fogging on the paint is looking great Tom! I spent some.time.today doing a bit (very small amount) of BMF on the 57 Chevy. I also airbrushed some Molotow chrome on some parts for my custom chopper. I sprayed a final coat of clear on my Nova Sedan and sprayed a coat of Tamiya Smoke on the chrome for it. Now I just need to paint it white on the inside after the washout water dries. Got the interior basic color painted yesterday. Zippi Posted April 26, 2021 Share Posted April 26, 2021 Did some paint/Gloss testing today on some spoons as I'm trying to find something what works for me and I can repeat. I used Anita's Glossy acrylic red paint and for the Gloss finish I tried Pledge Revive it, Tamiya Clear, and Rust-Olem Gloss. I think the Rust-Oleum came out on top. We'll see what it looks like tomorrow after it's cured for 24 hrs. Since the Rust-Oleum is an enamel it can still be wet sanded which is something else I need to do some testing on.
