Any Interest Idea

Recommended Posts

I agree w/ Rob, a later model GC such as this 1990 would be so fine. I had one similar to this.

I would buy a squillion of these; any chance Revell could leverage anything from their Jeep Honcho kit?

Probably would be best to start fresh..the Honcho kit is a bit on the simplified and crude side.

It's not really in my realm of interest, but if it existed, I would buy one.

Although my preference would be something earlier.

Say mid 60s - early 70s.

I agree; all-new would be preferable. Failing that, I'd be happy with a body, grille, and wheels, and I'd figure out the rest on my own.

Nice... it's essential we make this a 7-in-1 kit to cover all the years.

These big wagons were also available in two doors. There is a bright red one sitting in a yard about 15 miles from my house. No woodgrain on it. I never can remember to take my camera when take that route.

Yeah, the Wagoneer was available as a 2dr up through 1968.  There was also a 2dr sedan delivery/panel version.   Don't think I've ever seen an early 2dr.

Then in '74 they brought out a 2dr Cherokee, with a different side window treatment than the older 2drs.   This lasted through '83 until the XJ Cherokee came out for '84.

Wow, lots of awesome ideas floating around  ....

Maybe one day, but I seriously doubt that it would ever happen. (95% sure) 😥😥😥
