Gramps46
Just found this old photo of my build of the original Revell Ford F100. Come to think of it, it might be the only stock '56 on the board. ? Fortunately it is a survivor though I need to check the tires and wheels to see if they are melting. thatz4u
Gary, great job on a kit that was difficult when new in 62...
Ace-Garageguy
I like that a lot. Nice simple as-built working truck.

Gramps46
Thanks to all for your kind comments. My memory of the build was that I ended up gluing the doors shut and the front axle spindles were very fragile. Boy that was along time ago. junkyardjeff
I did not know a stock version was made, the ones I built came with non stock tires and rims and if I done another would glue the doors shut.
Gramps46
I went digging into my files and found the instructions for this Revell F100 kit and as Al Rich said above they are copyrighted 1962. The kit came with 2 engines, the stock Ford V8 and a Pontiac engine with GMC blower. It also had a dropped front axle option, custom seat, tubular grille, door panels, exhaust stacks, reverse chrome wheels, and a surf board!!! Gee, I had forgotten about all the custom parts.
