Hello all,

I was curious if any one has tried Splash Paints metalizers and how they compare to Alclad metalizers?

Thoughts and opinions are very welcome and thanks in advance.

Hey Brian,

If you are wanting to achieve more realistic look, alclad is a better option but if you'd like durability, Splash metalizers will do the job.

Tke a look at Tru-Color paints. Their metallics are great and very durable. the trailing arms on this Porsche 934 are done in their aluminum. The brake disk is galvanized steel.
