A little black wash on the grille and hubcaps and some turn signal amber on the front turn signals would realy make this stand out! Easily done even when fully assembled. Monty Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 (edited) Nice work! I've got one of these waiting in my on-deck circle, so it's always nice to see one finished. I'm curious about something. I've seen a number of these built over the years, and many seemed to sag at the back end. That doesn't seem to be a problem with yours. Did you just happen to catch the problem in mock-up and fix it, or was it not an issue to begin with? Also, what paint(s) did you use for the wood grain on the dash? heyjohnxx Posted May 3, 2020 Author Share Posted May 3, 2020 (edited) I placed a couple small spacers under the rear springs to bring up the back. The paint is cheap brown craft paint from Hobby Lobby, Anita's Warm Brown I think. You can see the spacers on the picture of the bottom of the chassis (pic #4).
