Flying Dutchman Charger funny car DONE

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I wanted to post this one, as I had started this about a year ago, or longer. I didn’t do great detail, but added a few things. Ignition wires and a photo etched racing steering wheel. I concentrated on the colors and paint detail.

One more done...one to go!   Thanks for looking.

Nice.

I've always that was  one of the best looking cars of the period.

Who makes the decals for this car ?

Great work!

The Dutchmans' cars were always interesting and a bit left of center.

That paint job on that car turned out fantastic Steve! That engine looks really good too! Where'd you source the blower belt from?

Thanks, that is just masking tape cut to size, painted with a sharpie and a decal from a Slixx decal contingency sheet for the lettering on the belt. Also, after looking at pics of the car I noticed the blower hat was different. It looked like a Scot blower scoop, which is a resin piece. Comp resins, I think.
