It's a gas! '57 Ford Delivery

Recommended Posts

Just finished this up. While it looks red in the pics it is actually Tamiya Bright Orange and White. Seats are the buckets from the AMT '57 Ford kit. Stacks are from the Monogram 70 Mustang Boss. Decals are a mix from several kits. Wheels are from the AMT '56 Ford and tires are AMT parts pack as well as parts bin finds.

Nice and clean it just flows so smoothly

I actually thought the black and white pictures were a real car you based the model off of for a minute

Me too! Funny how black and white photos sometimes make the subject look more real!

Although I'm not at all into drag racing I really like the look of this model.

Really captures the look and feel of a 60's quarter- miler.

I can almost hear the engine from here. I agree with everyone else about the paint work and the clean trim. The side windows, did you use a flat piece of plastic for those ? Great use of the old parts box on this build.

Cleanly built project with eye catching results. Especially the finishes. Well done

What a Great Quarter-Pounder! I'll echo the comments about the Clean Assembly, and Super Smooth Finish. Excellent Build.
