Posted March 22, 2020 Share Posted March 22, 2020 This build came to fruition after Jerry Reeter printed a special edition set of decals for a Charmin TP trailer ...and chatting w Tom Billings we decided to start a mini group build. The plan is a fleet build , both of us building matching Mobius Prostars, and the Mobius 53ft smooth side trailers. They'll both have 2 hole budd steel wheels, and the Charmin tribute decals . I'm rarely a box builder , so this will make it fun having all the engineering done ! Heres the kits , and decals we're using I couldn't resist, so I cut out a few sections to mock up on the trailer . We decided to simplify things and use the roll up door option, a great idea !!! As a side note, earlier this week the NCHP pulled over a stolen rig and found it was loaded with TP; I guess someone was planning on subsidizing their retirement. I’ll be starting on mine in the next day or so, as I’ve been put out of work due to the virus for who knows how long, so this build shouldn’t take long....... Posted March 22, 2020 Author Share Posted March 22, 2020 Thanks everyone, we're gonna be on a roll lol Looking over both kits , I was impressed how decent the instructions are, especially after their Lonestar offering Seemed really weird today to shut our cnc machines down , and clock out unsure when they'll be back in production. Only ended up w one glue finger print this time...stuff crept out of the front corner . The corner reinforcement strips were added after things set up, and I started assembling the major parts underneath. I was just getting ready to shoot some paint on the bottom..when our daughter wanted to watch a movie . Shes growing up too fast to miss these chances I'm gonna need a huge can of white paint for this beast lol Edited March 22, 2020 by gotnitro?
