'64 Pontiac GTO Convertible (Polar Lights)

Hi folks,

I finished another one. This is first Polar Lights kit I built. It's one from the series of pre-painted (snap) kits, although "painted" is rather inadequate given the fact that the body was just black plastic covered with clear coat.

Anyways, I stripped the clear off and did my first ever white paint job on a model, using Tamiya white primer and Racing White paint.

Here we go:

Thanks for your comments! Yes indeed, Tamiya Racing White is a much warmer, creamier kind of white than I'd expected. And I used it over white primer, so it couldn't have been toned down by that. But if you compare it to the Butternut Yellow/ Mayfair Maize color on the 65 GTO on he last image, you will find there is quite a difference compared to light yellow, so it's fine by me.
