Thank you Ray!

Oh no. It’ll be Salt! I have to cut out a bit on top of the hood for clearance yet. Then it’ll get a  scoop on it. One that’s aerodynamic and tight to the hood.. Air cleaner assy. May come off and get something else..

A cross between these

The first photo is  of Rob Gibby and his teams roadster. Ive known him for years and its a very fast, cool piece. The Coupe was built for George Poteet by Rolling Bones. It was being built while I worked there. I have quite a few hours of fab time on it

Model looks cool!!!! I have a few of those bodies

We use to get a steady stream of people stopping by (i assume they still do) so we decided to start chopping it late one night so we wouldnt get disturbed. Everyone stopped the next day and jaws hit the floor  when it was mocked up haha

Great insights / story from Chris and I love the job Kerry is doing on the model.  Fun thread for sure.  cheers

Thank you Tim!! I need to get back to it again. Had my CaddiMad wagon yell at me about three weeks ago and have been tinkering with that... Need to get some primer on SaltLick and start getting ready for paint....

Got a few more things done on the SaltLick.. Front tires are on for good now. Had to drop the fuel tank down as the hood was hitting it and sitting to high.

Hopefully get some primer on it soon!!

Any progress?

Very little. Been working ten hour days for the last three weeks. Not a lot of building time... Hoping to get the body in primer so I can get closer to adding color to it.. Not sure when that’ll happen!!

Been there, done that. I worked 50 hour weeks for the last five years before I retired. Not a lot of time or energy for modeling at that pace.

Got that right, stinks too!!! Not much for life running those hours with 3 hours of driving to and from work on top of it.. Hour and a half one way...

I did the hour and a half run to work for five years! Even when you work 8 hours it’s like you did overtime each and every day!

Yeah that stinks!! 11 years and counting here... blah ?
