lghtngyello03 Posted April 9, 2020 Share Posted April 9, 2020 I’m glad to call this one done. It turned out just as good, if not better than I anticipated. The kit is a Tamiya 1/24 Scale Nissan R35 GT-R. It is finished in Splash Paints Nissan Katsura Orange, and the lower panels are finished in Tamiya X10 Gunmetal. It is all topped with Splash Paints 2k Clear Coat. The wheels used are Hobby Design Volk TE37’s with Hobby Design Valve Stems. They are painted using Dupli-Color Bronze wheel paint. I also used the Tamiya Photo Etch kit as it had better exhaust tips and mesh for all the bumper openings. The GT-R and Nissan emblems are Hobby Design as well. They are much more detailed than the ones that come in the kit. All carbon fiber decals were self made using Tamiya Fine Weave Carbon Fiber Decals. The interior was sprayed in Tamiya Acrylic Semi Gloss Black as well as flocked with light grey flocking. All other parts were sprayed using a variety of Tamiya Acrylics. Thanks for looking. Thanks man. The color is definitely my favorite on these cars. I wanted to add some cf, but didn’t want to over do it. Proves that the hellcat isn’t as big and bad as everyone makes them out to be. I know they’re bad...but it got walked by a 6 cylinder lol.
