Hi Alex. That is a very impressive paint job. Did you sand and polish the paint for that finish?

Cheers,

Armando

Yes, both sanding and polishing, but only the clearcoat, the base coat was pretty smooth.

Very nice Porsche, Alex - good to see finally a new model from you - even if it's not from Maranello!

Thanks man, you going to like the next one even better:

I have built another one after the Porsche, but I guess this is not the right audience for it here - or maybe nobody expected a Honda from me :)

Amazing - I like older Italian sports cars most -  I too have this Alfa in my stash for about 20 years (still unbuilt), but you raise the bar once again to unreachable heights...

I don't know how to edit my original post, but I took some better studio pictures of the model, so I just gonna post them here:

Looks splendid! Was looking at your headlights and try to do the same! Great work

Thanks! I didn't really do anything special for the headlights.

Better late than never to this party, another super clean build, love the subject.

Thank you! It is a looker in 1:1 for sure!

Wow!!! That is perfection.  What is your secret for masking those wheels to perfectly seperate the Gold from the Chrome?  And what did you use for chrome?

Thanks! Chrome is kit chrome. I just painted the spokes. Used the paint from one of those gold paint markers, brush painted between the spokes, then just airbrushed the faces.

Which paint markers do you use?

Cool thanks!  I just pulled up my Kustov Collection: Tutorials that I purchased from Scale Auto a couple years ago to make sure it wasn't mentioned there and it wasn't.  I'm going to get some of these.. Are the Silvers any good?
