Ctmodeler
Hey there I was wondering if anyone had any idea of any kits that came with a 3.8 gm motor except a grand national ? Want to recreate a current vehicle we own. Thank you
Khils
Possibly FWD 90's Revell Pontiac Grand Prix SE.....but I don't remember it's induction...multiport??? Edited April 26, 2020 by Khils
espo
Are you mounting this engine in a North/South or an East/west position ? This could make a big difference when you get to the Transmission.

TarheelRick
Possibly the AMT Sonoma pickup would be a good bet. Not sure if some of the later issue kits of Monte Carlos came with V-8's or V-6's.

HomerS
Monogram's GMC Syclone?

Rwd Correct, and the Buick Grand National would , in my mind anyway, be the best starting point. The Turbo Charger may be a plus but it can be easily replaced with a carb. set up if need be. By the way, what are you building ? This may help answering any questions you have. Edited April 26, 2020 by espo

Matt T.
Some of the 1/25 Revell ASA Camaros from circa 1989 have a V6. I don’t know the liters/displacement though. Not sure if this is any help, but there it is.
stavanzer
The ex-Monogram/Revell El Caminio that has been announced for later this year has a nice 3.8 V-6. (I think). The new kit will come with both standard and Turbo induction, too.
Ctmodeler
I wanna build a 3.8 98-02 Camaro like the one I have that has the 3.8. doesn't exactly have to be a 3.8, just a 6 cylinder Chevy

Using a stock appearing Air Cleaner will cover/hide what type of induction system you have. The manifold may have to be altered to some extent so that it looks like a normal Intake. markbt73
The AMT Opel GT kit also includes an optional "Buick V6" that might work. But you'd have to figure out the intake, because the options are a stock carb/pie plate air cleaner or Hilborn injection.
