1950 VW Hebmuller

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Built using a tamiya bug donor and the bestmodelcarparts resin kit. I used the chrome parts from the tamiya kit instead of the supplied smoothies which i'll save for another build. I also used the tamiya dash as no matter how much cleaning i did on the heb dash i just couldn't get the paint to stick to it or some of the other small parts. All the pe parts are from highlight model studio in finland, and the fender skirts are from c1. Due to my problems with painting this i had to change the side panels to cream instead of the pearl white i used first. Unfortunately i had already assembled the rear end so was unable to disassemble to repaint (and i forgot about it) The suitcases are scratchbuilt and resulted in the up top no longer fitting
