Kararic
Greetings, Just finished this AMT 1960 Chevrolet Custom Fleetside kit. The kit is very nice and it builds easy. I decided to lower the truck slightly since it sat way to high. I replaced the wheels with different style and put white wall tires. I removed the chains in the rear that hold the tailgate for a little bit of a smoother look. I painted the truck and the go cart two tone using Splash Paint paints and their 2k clear. I was going to spend more time on detailing the engine and the bed but got burnt out and decided to finish it the way it is. Thank you for looking and please feel free to leave comments and suggestions.

TarheelRick
Beautiful build, nice clean work. Everything looks right. Nothing against your model, but looking at it I just realized how obtrusive those hood vents are to the overall design of the truck. Chevrolet design team at its best - not. dougwintz
Very nice. I'm just finishing mine. What kind of tape did you use while painting? The separation between black and white colors is very good!
Rudy
Agreed, the paint lines are perfect. About to paint mine, that's how I stumbled upon this post. Looks great. I think since I already glued the roof on mine, I might be lazy and just paint it all one color. But yours looks great in two-tone! - Rudy On 12/16/2020 at 6:39 AM, dougwintz said: Very nice.
