am73grand
This is awesome. I've never seen one of these trucks before. Looking forward to more.
redneckrigger
That is VERY nice work! Love the engine, as well as the cab!
Repstock
I've been working on other projects along with this one, but I've gotten a little further, and established the "look" of the Dodge.
leafsprings
I'm ready to call it a D 700! Excellent workmanship. It's a treat to see these medium duties come to life.

AmericanMuscleFan
I really love this Dodge Tom truck and I also love the direction this project is taking! Could make an amazing drag car hauler... I know I have a bias!!!

Repstock
Progress continues. The weathering effect looks strange in these pictures, I'm not sure why. I'm wondering now if I should stay with the flatbed or make this a box truck. What do you think?
leafsprings
Wow, incredible weathering, looks exactly like a used truck looks like after 10 years and 100,000 miles or 20 years and 200,000 miles! IMO, box trucks are sometimes too boxy. IMO, a smaller body, like a grain truck body, would be perfect. But as you know, they were never covered by plastic, maybe too regional of a thing. Dutzie
Looks great so far. Great detail on the weathering.
AmericanMuscleFan
It's so beautiful Tom! On my side I would prefer to see it as a flatbed as you had planned first. It will be perfect in my shelf... I love, I love, I love !!!
Chariots of Fire
I think it is fine the way it is. You have put so much time into it so far it would be a shame to cover it all up with just a box. I go for the ramp truck as well since it would be movable to show off all the detail underneath. Weather the bed with a light touch of rust here and there and just a small amount of dirt where tires might end up on a damaged vehicle. A small amount of grease on the winch cable...……..etc.
afx
I vote flat bed.
CapSat 6
Looking GREAT! I snapped this one at the Mopar Nats in 2017:
CapSat 6
If you do a flat bed, maybe you can build a load of parts to haul to a Mopar show (hoods, quarter panels, engines, etc.).
Repstock
Flat bed it is, then...

Repstock
This board seems populated with encouraging builders. Thanks for your comments...it's a good for the motivation. That being said, if something looks like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, tell me so I can fix it.

With all due respect Tom, I don't think you need anyone else's brain, as far as I know, your recreation skills are pretty impressive sir!!! AmericanMuscleFan
I hope to see a second life to this great project Tom. These old Dodge trucks are probably not unanimous in their design but I have a soft spot for these good old workhorses... and yours makes me salivate! There is still room on my shelf by the way... 😁
