I’m not sure if I just got lucky or what but with test fitting the transporter with the goose neck to the Mack and everything lines up nicely!

Thanks Juergen,  Yes it’s the Dodge short noise Big Horn that never made it to production only 2 were ever built. Frontier resin sells them and the hood adornment comes with it. I did a WIP when I built it about 5 years ago.

Dan, Thanks very much for the info.

Geat built, Dan! Pleasure to watch how it going!

Sorry for stupid question: why are these two platforms have different height?

And how many Italeri's road pieces have you used to make one on your shelf?

Thanks Sergei. The transporters are different heights because they are different models the first one is a older model than the second one. You may notice that there are double the tires and smaller wheels on the old one to.

I have 4 sections of the Italeri’s road in my picture.

I’ve finished the frame and most of the engine. Started priming most of the parts also.

Worked on exhaust stack safety shield and now have the engine installed. Tomorrow I’m planning on spraying the second color on the cab.
Comments and recommendations are always welcome.

Nice work Dan, this truck is a real beast!  Give it an anchor and it could pull the moon out of its orbit!!!  Very nice project, keep doing your great job!

I’ve been able to get all 3 colors on the cab now. Tapping around the air cleaner took me a lot of time and lining up the stripes between the cab , hoods and front grill.

   Dan ,

It looks like you are making good progress on this one  .  I'd bet that taping that off was a major pain ! But it also looks like you will have it looking good as well.

I really like the heavy duty look achieved by using those big wheels and tires ! On the wheels and tires. Did the wheels fit properly in the tires ?

Or did you have to do some filling  to bring them up to the right height ?

   Be Well

     Gator
