Slotto
I got this as a 3 pack of Porsche's. Included was a 911, a 928 and this 914. The 911 was virtually untouched but was missing the windscreen. The 928 and the 914 were started. They were both badly glued together and unpainted. I'm thinking of going this route for the 914. Stay Tuned... Slotto
Unfortunately the axle broke away so I replaced it with piano wire. While I was back there I replaced the shocks too. And a few shots from the top side. Stay Tuned...

Slotto
Thanks Stitch! Moving on, like the 911, I decided not to paint the body. All I did was rub out the body with tooth paste. I couldn't believe the results. stay tuned...
afx
I've built a pair of these kits, challenging but rewarding when finished.
Gramps46
Have you done an engine swap to a 6 cylinder?

TransAmMike
Kinda have a soft spot for the 914. I bought a used 914-4 many years ago in my stupid car buying days that wound up with a totally rotted out floor pan. Was looking to buy a 914-6 and I looked at one for sale. On the test drive he let it all out, went around a circular on ramp at a super high rate of speed with me hanging on for dear life but that little car stuck to the road like glue. 89AKurt
I've not seen a kit, much less one built! Cool subject, look forward to watching.
Slotto
Thanks everyone. This was a fun little build. The only thing left is a little chrome touch up then its in the books. This was an open box Revell kit with a 911 Carrera and a 928. Both rear quarters were warped and I did my best with a candle to bring them back into position. The only thing that was missing was a front turn signal light. I'll be keeping an eye out for one. The next time you see this it will be in the Finished build section. Thanks for playing along.
