charlie libby
almost finished polishing the body. assy. is very close. need a few things from RB motion and some radiator hoses. finally found some material i like for the seat belts. the material is red but when you cut strips it wants to unravel,so i put two coats of red paint on both sides and that holds it together really well. Codi
Charlie, I'm just sitting here scratchin' my head try to figure out how you do TWO involved large scale projects at once. You have brain reserves I can only dream of. btw, super nice work on this car too!! cheers, tim
charlie libby
assy. of the body is going well.body is on the chassis. i have to sand and paint silver around the head lites. i made head lite covers out of solid lexan , finished and polished to use to make a mold to reproduce them hollow .the solids are like a magnifying glass but they fit the car nicely

canman
Absolutely incredible work. True craftmanship. I've recently retired from the Fire Service and I'm just starting to build models. I built a corvette in the late '70's and this is truly impressive and probably more difficult then what I did. My first project will be a corvette. A clone of the one I built. I'm sure it will pale in comparison but it will be a start Edited December 1, 2020 by canman
