lordgodbob
Mavericks are criminally underrated. Great body lines, good looking cars, and yours is awesome! Edited October 29, 2020 by lordgodbob

dragcarz
I’m calling this finished for now. I tried lettering the classification and numbers for the windows with little success, I’ll keep trying and maybe I will get something acceptable someday. It’s come a long way from where it started. dragcarz
I need to come up with smaller plug wires and a successful way doing fuel lines. Sadly this one as well as my California Flash are missing them.
dragcarz
As with any build I took some liberties, according to my research Cross &Reher built their own drive shaft loop, and traction bars. These were painted black on the 1-1 car, but I liked a little color.

AmericanMuscleFan
Great work Roger! I love the stance, it looks bad A... By the way, you can find good size wire to make your spark plug wires using the ones inside the shield of a piece of telephone cable (if you have one ...). mustang1989
I really apologize for not being around here enough to follow this one through to completion. Been busier than all get out around here. Then ....outta the blue my wife tested positive for Covid. All in all she's doing alright but that means that I've been one busy dude over the course of the last week. This turned out amazing bud. Really looks good. It's interesting to see a SBC in that engine bay though. That right there is a conversation piece all by itself.

Yes, but I know that older phone cable (I mean those maybe 25 years plus old) have even smaller wires and are probably more in scale if you can find some. Also, I remember I bought spools of small electric wires from The Source (formerly Radio Shack) few years ago, I don't know if they still have them in store though. Thanks, for the good word, it turned out well, I’m usually my own worst critic. It’s something different. I’m waiting on my daughter to edit the final pics for the under glass. My brother in law worked for Southwestern Bell and would give me the scraps, That’s where this came from. I’ve even wondered about armature wire and painting it, but that’s a lot of trouble. I’ll do some shopping.
